Confronting the changes present in the information printed on the maps of two different publications of the Law on Occupation and Use of the Land of Belo Horizonte, 1976 and 1985, the two temporalities, as two different cities, overlap, in a movement of expansion and simultaneous retraction.

The border line determines a kind of security established in time, while on the other side, the city represented by aerial photographs advances and reformulates itself in this new temporality, also already outdated. The areas of disinterest, present in previous works, have here, in addition to a function of location within an empty space, the condition of establishing themselves as a structure that seems to sustain the temporal advance and all its metamorphoses like a very weak dam or effective.
