"Eduardo Hargreaves works the Arcadia series of drawings from trivial and everyday spaces, showing general elements of the structure of buildings, houses, urban spaces and other cultural elements, which are worked by the artist to transform themselves, through a translation process ,
in spaces that point one inside and one outside the image.

Each drawing refers to a possible place, which is interconnected in a way by the aesthetic proximity
and technical, however they show that they are not connected to a single space, but mention a distant, mythological place, at the same time as present and common."

"Myth is not defined by the object of its message, but by the way it delivers it: myth has formal limits, however insubstantial. So, can everything be myth? Yes, I think so, because the universe
it is infinitely suggestive. Every object in the world can go from a closed existence, mute,
to an oral state, open to the appropriation of society, since no law, natural or not, can prevent us from talking about things."
