A drawing in the format of South America is cut from a melted paraffin plate and its outline is placed on a sheet with part of the map of Belo Horizonte, taken from the publication.
of the Guidelines of the Land Occupation and Use Law of Belo Horizonte (1985) and sealed with paraffin.

The continent's counter-form is then fixed with sewing pins that simulate the lines of the equator
and the Tropic of Capricorn. A round black map pin is placed in the center of the
counterform that draws the continent.
