Taking as a starting point the maps of the publication of the Occupation and Use Law Guidelines
do Solo de Belo Horizonte (1985), I search on the pages referring to the city limits, the areas
of disinterest: neighboring cities are represented in white, with no information regarding
to any natural or cultural definition of its presence, occupation or history. white squares
and black lines that cross, in a kind of definition of latitudes and longitudes that define
the location of an empty space.

In border regions, some information escapes, as if infesting or dominating these external spaces: rivers, canals, connection routes and soccer fields; the only information that invades the boundaries that separate and define; objects suspended in the void.

A sequence of these spaces are cut and overlapped, interspersed in layers by plates
of transparent glass. In the background of the transparencies and cutouts, the presence of an iron plate
stands out in the counterform. The set is then attached to a wooden structure that simulates the presence of a sleeper, placed lightly on a steel table.
